Privacy Policy
Last updated: 8 December 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how WildFox Tech LLP (“WildFox Tech”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects information when you use our mobile applications and related services (collectively, the “Apps”).
1. Who we are
WildFox Tech LLP is a software studio that designs, develops and publishes mobile applications for iOS and Android. WildFox Tech LLP is registered in England and Wales under company number OC458760, with its registered office at Stoney Works, 8 Stoney Lane, London SE19 3BD, United Kingdom.
2. Scope of this Policy
This Policy applies to all mobile Apps published by WildFox Tech LLP under our official developer accounts on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
Some Apps may display additional in-app notices or app-specific privacy sections describing particular features (for example, use of certain permissions or integrations). If there is any difference between this Policy and an in-app notice, the in-app notice will apply to that specific feature.
3. Information we collect
Depending on the App and how you use it, we may collect and process the following categories of information:
- Usage data – information about how you interact with an App, such as screens viewed, buttons tapped, in-app events, and session duration.
- Device and app information – device model, operating system version, language, country/region, time zone, and App version, as well as basic performance data (for example, loading times, errors).
- Identifiers – app-specific or device identifiers used for analytics, attribution and crash diagnostics (for example, Firebase Instance ID) and, where available and subject to your consent, advertising identifiers such as IDFA on iOS or Advertising ID on Android.
- Purchase information – details of in-app purchases and subscriptions (such as product identifiers, transaction identifiers, purchase dates and regions) as provided by the app stores for billing, entitlement management and accounting purposes. We do not receive your full payment card details.
- Diagnostics – crash logs, error reports and related technical data that help us find and fix bugs and maintain stability.
- Support communications – if you contact us (for example, by email), we process the information you provide, such as your email address and message content, in order to respond.
We do not intentionally collect information such as your real name, postal address or phone number from within the Apps themselves, unless you explicitly provide it when contacting us.
4. How we use information
We use the information described above to:
- operate, maintain and improve our Apps and their core functionality;
- understand how users interact with features and content to improve user experience;
- diagnose crashes, fix bugs and ensure technical stability and security;
- manage in-app purchases, subscriptions and restore access on new devices;
- protect our Apps and users against abuse, fraud and misuse;
- comply with legal obligations and app store policies.
Where data protection laws (such as the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation) apply, we rely on different legal bases to process personal data, including: (a) performance of a contract (to provide you with the Apps you choose to install and use); (b) our legitimate interests (for example, to understand App performance and maintain stability and security); and (c) your consent, where required, for certain processing such as access to advertising identifiers or personalised advertising. You can withdraw consent at any time via your device settings or in-App controls where available.
5. Analytics and third-party services
Some Apps may use third-party analytics, crash reporting, attribution or infrastructure services to help us understand performance and usage patterns and to operate the Apps. These providers process data on our behalf in accordance with their own privacy policies and our instructions.
Depending on the App, these services may include, for example:
- analytics and crash reporting platforms (such as Google Firebase Analytics, Firebase Crashlytics or Sentry);
- platform and store providers (Apple App Store, Google Play and related billing services) for distributing Apps and handling in-app purchases and subscriptions;
- infrastructure, logging or monitoring providers that host back-end services or help us detect technical issues.
Not all Apps use all of these services. Where required by law or platform rules, we will ask for your consent before enabling certain types of tracking or analytics.
6. Advertising
Some Apps may include advertising. In such cases, we may integrate advertising SDKs that use device identifiers, limited usage data and contextual information to display and measure ads. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Your device and platform may offer controls related to advertising, such as “Limit Ad Tracking” on iOS, “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on Android or App Tracking Transparency prompts. If the App shows ads and additional options are available in the App itself, we will provide further information in the App or its store listing.
7. Children’s privacy
Our Apps are intended for a general audience. Some products, such as pet or casual games, may be used by or together with children, but they are not designed to collect personal data directly from children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age where parental consent is required in their jurisdiction.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information directly to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete such information as required by applicable law.
8. Data retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law and app store policies (for example, for accounting or tax reasons). Retention periods may vary depending on the type of data, the particular App and the services we use.
Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you may be kept for a longer period for statistical and analytical purposes.
9. International transfers
Our Apps may be used by users around the world. Depending on your location and on the services we use, your information may be processed in countries other than your own.
When we transfer personal data internationally, we take appropriate steps to protect it, such as using data protection agreements and safeguards required by applicable law.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data, including the right to:
- access and obtain a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data;
- request deletion of your personal data, in certain circumstances;
- object to or restrict specific types of processing;
- withdraw consent where processing is based on consent;
- lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.
Many privacy-related settings (for example, analytics and advertising permissions) can also be controlled directly on your device or within the App.
To exercise your rights or ask a question about your data, please contact us using the details below. We may request additional information to verify your identity before responding to certain requests.
